Recap of the finale

I have been hit or miss for the Voice all summer, and I am not 100% sure I will watch it again next year, but I have to say, The Finale was amazing. Not all of the original songs where good, but overall the duet with the couches all rocked and I just had a good time watching.

Not that I think anyone reading my journal watches this show, but heh.. Just my feelings on a good show last night :p

I thought Blake had to sing down to make his girl sound good. Her voice is just way too low. He had to try so hard not to overpower her.

And I think Adam Levine sang too much of the Michael Jackson piece. His singer is really good and he should have allowed him to belt out more of it.

I am not a county music fan, but Blake sounds perfect in just about anything he sings. I think he did a good job not over powering his girl, as she is just a soft voice.

I agree Adam sang more of the piece, and I was not sure why, but they had the best mixed singing of all of the duets.

I loved the "Love is a battle field" at the end. I was in shock, and it brought back my MTV days of watching videos a lot (mostly in the 80's).

I have no clue what they are going to do other than a lot of guest singers tonight for the announcement.

If we go by the Itune charts, Dia wins hands down. But... I have to say, I would be happy with any of the 4 finalists winning, and all for different reasons. I am so happy we got to the end without 3 cookie cutter singers. These are 4 VERY different singers.

They are all bring something different to the competition and they are all very good at what they do. If Dia wins, I think it's the theatrics that put her over the edge. As it stands, I'm more preferential to Javier or Beverly.
